The aim of this project is to develop and consolidate a method for obtaining cerebral organoids, exploiting the ability of human iPSCs to self-organize into specific early-organ structures, allowing to analyze and manipulate human brain development. The organoids will be characterized through fluorescence IHC using neural and brain regionalization markers, and their cellular composition and maturation will be investigated by single cell RNAseq (scRNAseq) at different timepoints (1-3-6 months).
