The main goal of this project is to investigate osimertinib resistance in EGFR-mutant tumors and assess the therapeutic potential of BMI1 inhibition. The study combines single-cell RNA sequencing and metabolomics to understand the metabolic alterations driving resistance, with advanced microscopy to closely examine intracellular organelles, such as mitochondria, and extracellular structures, including vesicles and nuclei, linking molecular mechanisms to cellular and functional characteristics.
