The major goal of this project is to investigate the effects of BMI1 inhibition in EGFR-mutant tumors that have developed resistance to osimertinib. Using single-cell RNA sequencing, the project aims to dissect the cellular and transcriptional heterogeneity associated with drug resistance and to identify adaptive mechanisms that may be targeted to overcome therapy failure.
