The project aims to regenerate portions of human tissues damaged by gunshot wounds or explosive events through the development of an innovative device based on microextrusion technologies. The approach integrates extracellular vesicles and organ-specific cellular lines, including vascular components, to promote functional tissue regeneration. The strategy relies on the use of laboratory-developed 3D bioprinted models, enabling advanced preclinical representation of the target tissues. By combining state-of-the-art biofabrication technologies with genetically engineered cell lines, the project seeks to reconstruct biomimetic, heterogeneous and functional tissue structures that faithfully recapitulate the architecture of the damaged organ.
