Translating research into impact on health and disease is a central mission of the Institute of Biomedical Technologies.

Our application areas outline the clinical, translational and societal contexts in which ITB’s research is carried out, spanning both well‑characterized disease states and conditions representative of normal physiological functioning across the lifespan.
