HPC infrastructure management

At ITB, the HPC and Cloud Infrastructure Management research line makes advanced computing resources available to life-science researchers. ITB builds and operates powerful computing and cloud systems that allow large amounts of biological data to be analyzed, stored, and shared efficiently. By taking care of the technical infrastructure behind the scenes—including systems, networks, security, and hardware—ITB ensures that researchers can work with complex data in a reliable and scalable computing environment.
Research Activities
Development and maintenance of HPC clusters (HPC Infrastructure Management) ensuring predictable and scalable execution of intensive calculations.
Deployment and management of Computational Infrastructure (Cloud and HPC) for Life-Science data analysis, storage and sharing
Management of Unix-like open-source operating systems, networking, firewall administration, virtualization systems, and hardware maintenance of computing infrastructures.
