ITB researchers contribute to Public Health, prevention and lifestyles through multidisciplinary studies integrating bioinformatics, molecular biology, and data analytics to promote healthy aging and disease prevention. Their work focuses on identifying biomarkers and risk factors linked to lifestyle, nutrition, and chronic conditions, developing predictive models for early diagnosis, and supporting evidence-based strategies for personalized health management. Activities also include public engagement and dissemination to foster awareness and preventive behaviors in the community. In collaboration with small and medium-sized enterprise, the ITB’s researchers are conducting also a study to develop an integrated technological system for monitoring and managing sarcopenia and related comorbidities in elderly patients.
